so now the 20th sr5 hh maple i wanted to begin with has arrived

too bad its a 100 miles over to her place and i have a tyre on the car that leaks...
but i will find a solution, you betcha!

just got in the door after a 4 hour drive. i even managed to keep it in the box and not look at it before i came back home again

ive been jamming away on it and it sounds very good acoustically. vibrant and alive, esp the b string. just like the single h i got.
the space between the pickup and the neck is more than enough for me to slap/pop on. it just falls in my natural playing position so im a really happy camper!

ill plug it in tomorrow, perhaps do a lil comparison of the h and the hh.. now im just too tired to talk anymore.. im offa to bed!

ps: the top is so beautiful.. if you look at directly from the top you cant see where the joint is. you have to look at it from an angle so the a string doesnt run over the joint.

pps: borrowed the car from work to go pick it up.. those small vans could have better handling

That's freaking sick, all the best, really looks like a one piece top! There isn't a bad tone
on these, I'm pretty crazy doing mod's to my gear, I have 2 of these I'll never touch as they are perfect. I can't believe that was available. Great score.
