Oiling and Waxing

Guys, have you ever waxed your necks until they were actually shiny?
My AL MM90 had a super dried out neck. Oiling and waxing made quite a difference.

Sometimes I just use the oil. I find that the wax can make the neck too shiny and not like when the guitar came from the factory.

I applied about 4 coats of wax and it feels about right.
After oiling and waxing, the neck seems to have straightened out a little.
It was REALLY dry feeling.
