So my last post appears to have prompted a request for pics. I gave up photography some time ago, and just don't have it in me to agonize over angles and lighting and what not. I'd rather agonize over songwriting, solos and mixing, which are far more gratifying for me (heh).
Anyways, my boys, such as they are:
1. My Axis SS, bought used from a (former?) forumite.
2. My recent JP6 Piezo, bought ever-so-slightly used on eBay
3. My S.U.B. 5 string, bought used on eBay
What will probably come to a surprise (or roar of disapproval) is that my boys are out in my home office/studio all the time. If they're in the case, they don't get played. I bought them to be played, not kept in cold storage for a later selling. To me, it's a crime to hear guitarists who are afraid to play their guitars for fear of reducing the resale value. Having said that, I enjoy purchasing pre-owned guitars. If there's a scratch or two, I didn't cause it, and if the proverbial cherry's been popped already, I can get past that and just enjoy the guitar.
So, there they are.
