It's really not that big of a deal.

Who am I kidding. Blue Dawn is the coolest.
Hey baim!
Maybe we could go a couple of rounds?
Screw that noise. I'll be to busy at the open house going ooooh and aaaah and hoping nobody figures out who I am.

Did I tell you what I heard while I was hanging out at the water cooler.
There's this wierd guy, hanging around the water cooler.

Darrell, very nice score one of the nicer BD's I've seen.

Jimi D (aka Thread Hijacker), welcome the ownership world or Silver Sparkle, a wonderful color.

Very nice boys, very nice indeed.

Ah yes, SPARKLES RULE!!!!!!

Darrell,
Nice axe!!! Love the color too... :D

When I swap out the bridge HB on mine to a single, I'm thinking about going to white pickup covers and am definitely going to change the black screws in the pickguard to stainless steel.

...well, I asked the guy to send this to my work address, as well as to send it FedEx ground, so that I might have it by the weekend, and put some good time into it during my 3 day weekend.

Never let someone do something FOR you...he passes this along to someone to resolve for him, since he's got way too much to take care of (no worries, I am a busy guy as well).

Sending it to my home address instead of work, where it'd be out of the heat and overseen by people...now it may just end up chilling out outside for an hour or so, unattended in the 112 degree heat.

Also going out UPS, which means 39-day delivery...I friggin' hate UPS...estimated delivery is one week from yesterday (Thurs.) -- FedEx ground would have had it here tomorrow or Sat. (though we're closed at work on Sat., so that could've been bad. That, or my fat butt was chillin out at work waiting for the 'ol FedEx truck to come popping in!)

So, that's my story folks...I'm happy to see that she gets here in one piece overall, unlike what we read about with the BD JP :(, but man, the extra wait sux!

Later...

Love both of those colours. Not a great fan of pearloid scratchplates so I'd probably change mine to something like BLACK!!

I have a HSS Silo with Floyd on the way from the US. Taking my total to 6.

Next up has to be a solid rosewood neck axis.......

The upsetting thing about that is that there was a blue dawn Silo Spec in the OKC Guitar Center last May (04). The first day I was there, I played on it for an hour or so and of course was drooling. The price was 1200 dollars. The next day, Memorial Day, they had a Mem Day sale and it had a 600 dollar sticker on it. I just didn't have the money but it would have been a great deal and it was blue dawn.... oh the humanity!
