OK so I tried Markbass gear today...

I plan on owning a Bongo soon... =)


I own a GK amp, but I did try out markbass the other week, and they were amazing. Sound great, lightweight, it's awesome that something that small and light can have such a big and powerful sound!

By the way, I got my Egyptian Smoke Bongo H two weeks ago and am fully completely LOVING it.... and will post a fuller commentary as soon as I get some pics together! It's the bomb.

Peter - is what has been said here about the differences in the F1 and LMII accurate? How would you explain the differences?

F1 - quicker response - smaller - lighter - 2 speakons
LMII warmer sound - more low end response

Does anyone know - do you have to buy Markbass stuff only at the stores listed on the GC website - or can you order Markbass at any GC?

I am going to get cabs to go with my LMII - but the one store around here is a bit far away.

as far as I know, you can order from any GC and have it shipped in.

I was told this after complaining that the Tucson GC doesn't have MB stuff.

Yes you can order any Markbass head, cab or combo we carry from any GC. Sorry we're not set up for Special Orders yet but we have the F1 head on order along with other new MB gear.
