you know my dilemna. If you didn't see that before, search for post "what to do...refinish or not".
Well, I took the advice of a few of you (BP included) and went with the adhesive vinyl option for now....I'm most likely going to go with a refinish at some point. My original plan was all white. After I got a layer of white on there, I realized a few things - 1. white shows every flaw in the application process (mainly tiny air bubbles) - b. white is see thru...you could still see the original graphic clearly - 3. it looked like a nice guitar with a cheap white sticker on it.
So now I had this big white canvas and had to decide what to do with it. I did this...
It's a little nutty, but it's different than any guitar I've ever had before. It's certainly not what I would choose if I were doing a permanent refinish....but after a couple of days it has grown on me. Just thought I'd share. C'ya.
