do you think the eighties six screw silo,s will be come valuable like old fender,s and gibson,s. not the fifties guitars but like the sixties and seventies one,s are becoming.

Honestly, no I do not. It isn't because I think they aren't as good by any means. I just don't see them being quite the collector's find as the vintage Fenders & Gibsons. I would say this mainly because the other instruments are more popular and used by more popular musicians. Face it guys, nearly all of the best rock and roll songs were recorded using a Fender or a Gibson.

i see your point. lucky for us. i think they are have the best quality /value ratio you can get .some other "old" guitars i,ve seen are junk.

I'm with Paranoid on this one, though who knows what the future brings? Fast forward 50 years, and a 6 bolt MM may be a real collector's piece. But I don't think there'll be any shorter range collector value in one.

I think one day the old six bolters are going to become very valuable. They are already scarce when compared to the newer guitars. I personally would like to see more available on the used market. I really dig 'em.
