Hi everyone. Long time since I've posted.... but always enjoy reading and obsorbing the incredible knowledge found in this forum.
You might say I am one of those people that still live in the stone age...electronically speaking of course. I was hoping to treat myself to some new recording toys for Christmas (and no... my wife won't likely do it for me.... as she has enough trouble keeping me away from my guitar and music as it is....lol) Anyhow... after much research...most of which seems over my head technologically... I am thinking in terms of a 24bit (for the quality) USB interface (plug it right in and play kind of thing) Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Simple with quality is what I'm looking for.
Most interesting product for the price I've read about is an Aardvark Direct Mix USB3 with Cubase LE software. Now listed as a package for something like $239.00. Any thoughts on the software learning curve? Thanks much in advance for your input and other suggestions.
P.S. My use will include my MM/SS, little vocals if the urge hits me, plug-in drum machine/effects etc.
