I have an OLP EBMM 1 guitar that I want to upgrade. I feel the neck is a little too thick for my playing. Does anyone know how deep the truss rod cavity is ? I want to sand down the neck, maybe 2 - 2.3 mm. Is that possible or is it not recommended ? I'm afraid to take out the truss rod from the neck to check. I might not get it back in place as it should be after. The guitar has a normal Fender Bridge. Thanks for advices.
