Anyone know the exact measurement on the neck of the OLP MM1 guitar? I know its a copy of the EBMM Axis, but wasn't sure if it had the exact same neck size/radius. I want to replace the Floyd tremolo and need to know which nut to order, but I dont know how to measure the neck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should look into a used ax40 and do some mods on it like I am, the Ax40 is levels above the olp in every way shape and form, great platform for mods, incredible guitar to begin, the ax40d has real axis pickups and is $750 new. You could get a regular ax40 used for around $350. And put dimarzios AT-1 in the bridge and air norton in the neck, thats what dimarzio says is the closest match for the proprietary axis pick ups.

1 11/16th is what I was told. Maybe someone on here can measure theirs (if they have one) to confirm.

OLp is one of my little pet peaves guitars and I own/upgraded several because they were basically in the Axis image at a great price. So, in my eyes, they were worth doodlin' with.

Tell me a little more - where did the FR come from in the first place? i.e., do you have a floyd on it now?? Trem stop??
The FR Trem is set for 10", so you will simply have to i/o shims under the individual saddles to tweak the action.

You want to be sure that the new trem is going to fit the pivots perfectly, and be aligned straight up with the neck, as well as sit level when at rest.

#R2 FR parts (1 5/8).

OLP had a variant of the MM1 called the MM1F which indicated there was a Floyd Trem... i have one with a tobacco sunburts on a real flame maple top. QC and specs were kind of all over the map (from what i've heard) and you could land some gems or land some rocks... I was able to get a Gem which lead me to this fourm to ask more questions and get me in the EBMM Family (so to speak) but great guitars for the price point... i'm actually in the middle of rebuilding mine to put back into rotation -

I agree, I did the same due to the fact I really thought the guitar was worth it!! By the way, any pics of that rare MM1F???
