Hi all,
Brand new to the board. I just picked up an OLP MM1 and really love it. I know this is EBMM board, but could not find any other board that is specific to OLPs. I hope I'm not offending; I do plan an upgrade to a true EB in the future however. Anyways, my question: Where can I find replacement locking tuners to fit my MM1 without drilling any new holes or other mods? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks!

Hey check, no problemo!!

Most OLP owners either already own or will be buying an EBMM guitar - how can you not!!

Good guitar for the money, and I've modded several myself. As far as the tuners I'm pretty you won't need to re-drill any new holes if you stay with std tuners.

These are fun guitars to pop pickups in & out of!! :)

TNT,
Thanks for the welcome! To be honest, never really looked at Balls; been a Fender/PRS guy. When I saw the OLP at a local store for $99 bucks (NOS , almost mint) I said "what the heck" if I don't like it, I could part it out or ebay it for that much. I really like the neck and the buckers can "clean" up decently. So will the locking tuners from the Reflex fit this? I see on the MM site , Schaller M6-IND are used. I am really looking forward to trying a Reflex/Axis/AX20 with asymmetrical necks and unfinished neck.

Hey man - welcome to the forum. Don't know about the locking tuners, but just wanted share my experience. I started with an OLP MM1, and now am the proud owner of two EBMM Axis Super Sports, and will be on the lookout for a Silhouette Special in the near future. EBMM is definately an addiction:cool:

OLPlayer,
Thanks. I'm stoked at the possibility of an asymmetrical neck that may make playing easier. I've owned Jags, Mustangs, Strats, Teles, a Mira and a Dano. The Tele is the best I've had in my hand. I'm on the hunt for an AX 20 locally to try the neck as the Axis SS hardtail is out of the budget right now. The new Reflex looks promising. I don't want to get impatient and get the AX20, if the Axis SS is way better. But at x3 the price maybe the AX20 is where I should look for now. Any thoughts?
