Holy smokes!!!!!..
I made it to GC today and got chance to check out the 30th Anniversary StingRay 4H and a StingRay 4HH.
Damn!..that Mahogany is heavy but I LOVE the look and the tone is laser sharp, it should be the new wood of all StingRays! As for the StingRay 4HH, it is a BadA$$ mother...I have to get one!!!!
There was a guy there who was looking at all these other basses (modulus, fenders, warricks) and then passed by the Musicman section without stopping. I innocently
asked him to try out the 30th and tell me what he thought. Well he was totally blown away! I then asked him what he thought of the SR4HH and he was in love!!! Just like that! That's all it took
I was there for 2 hours and when I left he was still with the SR4HH, just loving the feel, and tone. He didn't pick up another bass after that.
I will be contacting a certain Host of Cows
about pricing on a SR4HH very soon
