Well I know from experience how sweet that bass is. Its pretty rare from what Dan at EBMM has told me when I posted the serial number up in the sticky. Its the only red sparkle I've seen with rosewood and I've only seen 2 other ones with maple, one being Musicman Nut's and the other belonging to mike herrera of MxPx. Take good care of it!
Oh I am.. At first I wasn't so sure about the sparkles, it was way more sparkly than I expected. But its growing on me. And in the dark it looks like a 30th... One question what strings did you put on there? Top feels thick like 105 [I like 100's] and what to be sure of the brand so I don't get them. Lol not exactly my sound.
My pictures always come out like crap. I have a few taken from the privious owner but it doesn't even look like it has sparkles.. Thats why when I got it, I was like OMG...
Spencer, its strung with EB super slinkies 100-45. The Sparkles definately come to life under stage lights, very hard to capture in photos without really good natural lighting.
Thanks. I was hopeing they weren't that. I was going to get that exact set. I really wanted Ernieball Strings instead of my usual DR but the E string just sounds way diffrent than the A string. I mean I may sound like an idiot but I mean the E just has no tone where as the A has a little. I was hopeing it was because it was a 105 but I guess not... Someone help I really wanted EB'S.... I hope they are just dead.
