For those of you that didn't have the pleasure of driving south down Highway 1 to get to the open house, I though you might enjoy a picture or two. Here's one that was taken about 15-20 miles south of Carmel.

And I'm still living in Ohio because.........???

Nice pic. Almost as beautiful as the crystal clear blue, sparkling, serene Ohio River... :D :p

Jon, I think he was aiming that at you...get him, doggie! ;)

We cruised up the 101 (Pacific Coast Highway) from LA, and we stopped at the beach on the way up. NorM had shorts on, so he went right in to the water, I had to roll my pant legs up, but ultimately did the same. The chicks changed out behind a dumpster, and proceeded to get out in the water, and ultimately get soaked. (Mmm...there's nothing better I like than wet chicks. LOL!)

Seriously, what a great stop, and a great opportunity to get into the ocean for the first time in 26 years (I was 4 years old, on a trip with my folks in SF)...another bonus from the weekend.

Probably for the same reason I'm living in the Northeast.

No earthquakes
No wildfires
No hurricanes
No tornadoes
No desert heat
No Ah-nold

The worst we get is the occasional snowstorm.

On balance, though....it sure looks nicer in SLO.

Dude, where you at??

You forgot the hurricanes.

That scenery looks like several places in Australia - the coast south of Adelaide, the Margaret River region in WA, Tasmania, south coast of NSW etc.

I rode the train down or up rather and it was about 5 -10 feet from that cliffs like that more than half the way up there i wasnt liking that to much

Agreed - there is one shot that could even be mistaken for the canberra/southern tablelands region
