MusicMan emotions

HeyaForumites,

Just exhausted and on my way for a nap after intense OccupationalT &PhysicalTherapy sessions with 2 of the most lovelytalented, professional and humane therapists anEBMM bass basher could hope for, actually stood on 2 legs and took steps (1 foot after the other, walked around a table)today ... which is allquite special for me after actually moving my left hand yesterday - OK, so the gals are quite encouraging and they tell me " hey, that's you doing that", but I know that they're "analysing, planning, cuing and directing my body parts to move properly to allow me to make the moves without crashing hard on the floor ... all's I can say is "never underestimate the skills and personalities of top notch :cool:therapists - what they do to put broken people back on the road again is trulyremarkable:)

and thanks to all forumites for all your encouragement and entertainment while I'm in the "penalty box" here on rehab second floor:)

I seriously gotta say you gang are legendary in planetEarth cyberspace which is completely in tune with the legendary status of Ernie Ball Music Man basses ... andspecial bonus thanks to BP and all the SLOhands for setting the pace and providing the place:)
/PL

Your attitude about this whole situation, at least what I can tell through your posts, is inspirational! You seem to be making the best of it & keeping your spirits high. Way to go!

HowD Forumites...

Had a goodsnooze today for the first time since starting the hospital thing ... it seems that sex therapy, bacon and agood sleep are almost impossible to get in these places:(

I'm still working on #1;)and I've got an order out to my principal smuggler for a pound of sow belly - my OT is taking me out for a street test with the motor chair in a couple of days:cool: and I'm booked for making lunch in the rehab 'wheelchair friendly ' practice suite... my PT walked me around a table on Friday( actual 'left, right, left right, one foot after the other ... which was quite encouraging:) but also very tiring

the practice suite is a very cool and safe:cool:place to try living independently (standing, moving, cooking etc.after being hospital bound for several weeksit.it's one of the last stages of rehab before heading for the tough, big ol' outside world.
y'all "boogie on" out there and keep the EBMM homefires burning and BIG tnx from second floor rehabonce again for all the support, pics and info tainment:)

A Steiny copy

Now that's a wise therapist. I know it's not an EBMM, but if you do this consider picking up a Steinberger or Steinberger clone. Small, light, easy to deal with from a logistical standpoint. And you tune it with your right hand.

Hey there PzoLover! Good vibe machine is on full blast for you down here in the desert! Keep those nurses on the run, my friend!

By the way, I have a Hohner B2, which is a Stieny copy. Might be just the thing for you until you're back at 500%

Just say the word and it's yours!

All the best,

Ritchie
