Last month made one year since I got my Roasted Neck JP-6. I play three weekends a month and practice it nearly every day. I still marvel at how it stays in tune. It is time for a setup, but I don't know of anyone here in Tampa, Fl. that I would trust to put their hands on my Ball. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful.

Go the the FAQ section here, follow the instructions for the JP6 and if you stumble call customer service.

EBMM guitars dont just excel at playing nice, sounding nice etc......they are very easy to setup and dial in.

Its not as scary as it sounds:) Also, you can message us for tips.....

I knew nothing about setting up a guitar until I discovered EBMM. I won't let anyone else touch my Balls. I bought a Stewart McDonald setup kit & it's perfect. The specs are on the Music Man website. It pains me to see a new Ball advertised on some of the Premier Dealer's sites with the attachment: "professional setup from our guitar tech". They need "No" tweaking straight from the factory.Have fun doing your own setups!

I have been doing my own setups for years. Floyds, fixed, etc.....EBMM are almost idiot proof to setup.....and you can set them up successfully in many different ways where other guitars will give you fits if they are "out of spec"......

perhaps you someone would be so kind as to post a video showing/explaining the setup process. I'm terrified to set my guitar up myself. I'd never forgive myself if I caused damage to it.
