Whats up with this Onyx run. Is it in current production?

No, it was a limited run sometime in the 90's I believe. Limited to 50 instruments. (or was it 150? my memory is hazy)

Pretty much, they are stealthy sterlings, but with glossy finishes.

I believe it was 150, thanks for the reply, I thought it was something new.

It looks like they're offering the StingRay, StingRay5, Sterling, and Sterling5 in Stealth this year...not Onyx, but it might be what you are thinking of.

Spencer...They were a limited run of Sterling Basses in 2002. I believe 75 were distributed in the US and 75 overseas.
