These are EXPENSIVE.Bridge LUNDGREN m7/8 was $300 at one point , I think I saw them to for $400 even.

They’re amazing obviously, but I didn’t hear much from anyone here about them

I have one and it in the JP XI....couldn’t put it in a majesty....majesty is perfect , and I wouldn’t dare blaspheme by desecrating it’s internals, the pups are the last thing to worry about on that perfect piece

Anyway I digress (caught [ARTIC] dayDREAming lol ) .....

Anyway play the bridge position M pickup? 6/7/8 string versions?
Can’t find an EQ profile for it, anywhere. Is it scooped or what ? (High low and high, no mid)???

Lmk opinions

Ok so I know some people don’t want to hear about my XI anymore but I hope youll indulge me as this isn’t related at all to my PieZo

I did a sound comparison . When they say this thing is loud , like louder than an EMG, they Are NOT joking, it’s so loud I have to completely change EQ or volume on my overdrive channel when switching to bridge position

I like the EMG 81,but like so many I find it sterile or cold....

Hmmmm maybe that’s too cliche as I reads that always about it

Maybe it’s better to say it feels like it removes a lot of the tonal characteristics of the wood at the sacrifice of a higher ,clearer output......

But the LUNDGREN is clear,LOUD AND PROUD lol, while making the chambered body amplified (jp xI is chambered right?)

I gotta say, if u like metal, the m7 is perhaps the MOST INTENSE Bridge pup for rhythm i may have played to date, including blackouts EMG and dimarzio....it made the crunchkab I took out sound like a Ibanez stock pickup , and the liquifire sounds like , as I said, I turned down the guitar completely

I don’t know how he did it, but LUNDGREN is amazing .only other pickup set I like more , at least as much , is the Lace alumitone humbuxkers but they are so different and odd looking . EMGs and Blackouts, I think Seymour Duncan actually exceeds EMG in their own game now, are great for metal and clean jazz but the battery Ns aesthetic isn’t as nice as seeing the metal poles

The m7 looks old school but sounds new.....I really wish others could chime in to share their opinion especially if they took a risk of taking out a crunchlab (like I did*)

PS * which btw let me say was a double edge sword. I didn’t want the Bridge pup and I Lso didn’t want my PieZo damaged, but I would rather have my m7 and fix the wiring rather than nevrr install it (which I was told not to do in case the guy didn’t know EBMM wiring oh well)
