I'm no expurt!! - I've only tried the BD2 - but I'm sure I read that the BD1 was more agressive ala Satch/Vai .
Could be (and prolly) wrong though ha!

....and the girl on the right is definitely my wife.I'm taking the photo. Foggy I'm 36 going on 16

My apologies my friend!!!!
For some reason I got the impression you were a tad older than that!
Not that you can't have a pretty lady. It merely brought up the question in my head. :)

was it the old jokes that gave you that impression? :)

Yeah, but I'm only 33 and like the old-style jokes too..... with a bit of twisted stuff in the mix.

I thought you were older when you mentioned the Jets...... which lead me to believe you'd be about the same age as those guys.

They'd be early-mid 40's right ? at least ?

(I could be horribly mistaken....... the last time I saw those guys I was 17-18)

I love my Pod XT, but mainly through my Atomic amp. I have really been trying to spread the word about these great amps... much like we all do with EBMM. Atomic is still new, but they really do deserve some attention for how great they make a modeler sound (and that's literally any modeler).

Check 'em out at: Atomic Amps

Here is my rig ;) :

rrhea, yah I've seen the Atomics and think that they are pretty awesome. Though Atomic doesn't have an interface for the M-Audio Guitarbox. They look really cool and I was listen to some of the mp3 files on there website.

I have a feeling I'll be getting a Pod XT, it'll be used though, like I said I already have the Shortboard. ;)

Spud, nah thanx man, pedals are what I'm looking for really.

Thanx for the inputs. Glenn |B)

Don't let that stop you from getting one. They are working on new templates for stuff like the black box. But in the meantime you can just set the black box on top of the amp.

Atomics are all tube amps, and the new 50 watters employ 6L6 JJ tubes that have a ridiculous amount of headroom and with the super-efficient Eminence speakers.... it's loud as hell! :) These things cause instant involuntary bowl movements. :D

I hope you get one 'cause you'll absolutely love it.

Hey Glenn -

So let's see. You already have the PX4. I haven't really messed with the POD stuff, but within the realm of what you're looking for, I do have:

1. BOSS GT-8 (Extremely flexible and programmable, but I often spend more time tweaking and programming than actually playing.)
2. BOSS GT-6 (Slightly less powerful than the GT-8, models are a little less mature)
3. Behringer V-Amp 2 (a poor man's POD - which I happen to like even though everyone makes fun of it)
4. Korg Pandora PX4D (I know you have the original PX4)
5. Roland MicroCube

All of them have headphone outs.... If we ever manage to get together, I'd be happy to load them all in the car so you can give them a test run with your own guitars.

those guy's are in their mid to late 50's, Fenton and I are very close. I met him when he lived here in Queensland for about 10 years. His son is a great drummer that received a scholarship at the WA con. He was reading Dave Weckle charts when he was in primary school...

Wow, I thought I'd been conservative with my age estimate for diplomacy, but wouldn't have thought THAT old !

PS : Col, we need more (bigger) pics of Fiona ! ;) :p
