Just got off the phone with Matt from Eddie's guitars. This will be my sixth EBMM, hopefully I can keep this one. I know they don't exist without a pic so here you go.

Hey James - long time, no post. Where you been?

All reports are the 20th is a killer. A keeper for sure. I have an HH 20th on order. Thanks in part to our trade a while back - I have become a huge fan of EBMM basses. The 20th will make #11.

Cheers - great to see you back in this forum.

Thanks for the comments guys. Bill, I'm glad I could be of help with starting what seems to be an addiction for you. I've never had a problem with the tone from any of my previous EBMMs, I just never have been able to set the action low enough. I'm determined to make these basses work for me this time because I have recordings of me playing the 30th SR4 and the mix was perfect. "Thunderous" would be a good description. Anyway, I'll be jumping in here more often and hopefully I will get the setup education I need.

Lots of advice around here on setups. Refer first to the truss rod - tighten it a bit and see how it lowers action. Most people around this forum will tell you not to mess with the saddles - or at least fiddle with the saddles as a last resort.

Addiction - what addiction?:D
