I think you might have to contact your local dealer or failing that, Strings & Things...

Hopefull someone will pop along & confirm this for you soon.

yeah, you will have to contact them, although they don't deal directly with the public, only shops, try them anyway, good luck - you'll need it with them!!

I'm in the UK too and I got a white pearloid pickguard for my 4 string Ray from a seller on ebay called dazbootman.

He's in the US and he ships to the UK.....I got mine for $24.00....about £13.00 and postage I think was $10.00....all in all I got a top quality guard for less than twenty quid.....and it is absolute top notch quality and a perfect fit.
If he doesn't have the particular colour you want he can probably make one on request.

Check his store out on ebay..search for 'stingray pickguard' or search by his name....you'll get a great guard for a lot less than you'll pay for one over here.

Anyone know why Dazbootman doesn't carry Bongo HH pickguards? I thought those were the most common Bongo configs (at least most of the ones I've seen). The least I've seen is the single H and he has lots of those. Eh?

And any ideas from anybody on not necessarily a different material, but a different custom SHAPE pickguard concept for any MM 4-string? I like the shape of the SR5 pickguard a lot. Wish I could get something like that as an alternative. Eh eh?

:D

I doubt very seriously that the FAQ will be changed to include a competitor's info--call it a hunch. :D

my bad: i shoulda been clearer ... and read the other comments too ....

i was just referring to the "standard" ones ... missed the comments re: non-mm PGs

Did I bring (or rebring) up a bad topic? Sorry, I'm a bit new around here.

Mainly wanted ideas for a unique shape pickguard... apologies...

No, not a bad topic at all. Bryan makes great pickguards. And, the only reason he wouldn't offer a model is if he hasn't had one for a template. I know he makes SCH 5 string Bongo pickguards. If someone wants an HH, and he hasn't made one before, they'll just need to send him one for a template.

Although, looking at the original request, I haven't seen anyone offer black ice besides Ernie Ball. Doesn't mean they have an exclusive on the pattern, but if someone else doesn't have it in stock, they probably won't get a supply just to make one pickguard.

I've gotten pickguards for both of my Bongos from www.pickguards.us

They have a great selection at different price points, and they offer every Bongo model.

I just ordered a Bongo 4 HH pickguard from Bryan. Apparently he can make them....it seems he just doesn't want to list them yet.
