Ordering JP BFR Koa 6 string guitar - question

Hi!

I'm in a process of ordering koa top BFR JP model through serbian dealer and I have a question regarding koa finish. In the past koa had dark burst on the edges, kinda tobacco burst, and now all pics that I have found on the net are of island burst variation.

Is there a possibility to order one with tobacco burst, or island burst is the only option?

Also, is there a possibility to ask for flamed koa or some figured variation, or not?

Without being an official representative from EBMM, I can say that as far as I know it is not possible to get another figuring of the Koa than the one being offered - this is also very random and may vary a lot.

The current version of the Koa comes only in Island Burst. With that said, there was one member here on the forums, Norstorm, who BP made a "one-off" Koa in Tobacco Burst (which is the previous version of Koa finish) that is normally not available. So maybe BP will be able to make you one in Tobacco Burst too if you're lucky!
