Hello, I just got my hands on a Floyd Rose with a Piezo saddle system, and the saddles are identical to the Peavey floyd rose EVH wolfgang saddles but black, and of course each have a hidden lead wire. I built a guy a wolfgang neck out of exhibition grade birdseye maple for it. I am going to build by hand a Ernie Ball Wolfgang basswood body with an exhibition grade quilted maple top, and I already have built a Peavey flamed/birdseye maple wolfgang neck that I will mate together to make my own Wolfgang Ernie/Peavey hybrid! LOLOL, Has anyone out there ever mated these two together, and has anyone ever installed a Piezo saddled original Floyd Rose on one of these guitars? If so, what kind of sound did it have? I will let you know what the outcome will be, give me two weeks!

I built a neck for a trade. It is a German made Original Floyd Rose, but has the black GraphTech custom order piezo saddles. I was told they sound phenomenal, but are a custom item. Graphtech makes the whole floys rose now with Piezo, and string savers for sale. My new Floyd is from a really cool guy out in Arizona, who was going to make a bitchin variax internal guitar but I guess he changed his mind, so I ended up with it. I saw it on eBay, and he suggested a trade for one of my custom made necks. I did not know the Axis could be ordered with piezo saddles. I make all of my guitars by hand, some copies, some original, so I am a little out of the loop on branded corporate guitar options.
