I think it was the building in front of the new building - or at least part of that building. Does that make sense?

The first Ernie Ball Music Man Factory was at 225 tank farm road, san luis obispo....later we moved into the front boulding of 151 suburban road. I think you can google map them both and see a photo

+1! Jack was right, in that my newly-aquired Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (purch'd in NYC 11/14) wouldn't last long after being spoiled by the Bongo.

Just took it back to my local GC for store credit...put it into new GK equipment (no comments, Randy!:D ).

Guess it's better to have one stand-out bass, than to have a backup that can't cut it nearly as well...does that make sense?

:D :D

I've had Google Earth on my home computer for a few months now & I love it! I'll spend a couple of hours at a time just messing around & seeing what I can find. I have dozens of spots bookmarked or pinned or whatever it is. Yes, the EBMM factory is one of my bookmarked locations. :D

Yeah, I remember.. Dave LaRue and Vinnie Moore were also on that flight with us. (And the DuBaldo brothers, and Paul Warren..)

Oh, and the young lady who was all freaked out upon boarding, and refused to sit in her window seat, and made a small scene. She calmed down after getting an aisle seat, using the bathroom, and downing some booze.
