So I ordered a fretless Bongo in January and it shipped from the factory last thursday. I thought surely it would get here this week and was hoping so because I'm going out of town for a gig and a wedding all of next week. Today comes, and nothing. How long does it take to get a bass from California to Minnesota? That's an honest question, not sarcastic. I know this may come off as whining but Its not at EBMM , it's just at my streak of bad luck(the neck falling out in setup/needing to make a new one/having to leave town). So yeah, I just needed to get all that off my chest.

I bleeb up to 7 days is the time frame for UPS ground. If you call quick enough, you may be able to get a tracking #. I had a UPS delivery at almost 7PM the other day(Bovine shirts) so don't give up yet.

Yeah..It's 7 bidness days. If you call right now, I bleeb Scottie or Aziah in customer service can get you that tracking # 1 866 823-2255.

BTW I am guessing on the time frame. I don't deal with the shipping, but I worked for FedEx a long time ago, and I am pretty sure that ground is 5 to 7 days depending on how far it is. We use UPS but it's all pretty much the same.
Tell whoever you talk to , I said howdy :D

Update:

So it turns out that my bass didn't ship till TUESDAY and most likely won't be here till monday now. That explains quite a bit....I got a tracking number from Scott, although I'll be out of town from monday(am) to next monday.

Thanks Scott! Thanks Jon!

One more week won't hurt me  :D

Good things(including badass Fretless Basses) comes to those who wait!

I feel your pain Andrew, not only was I out of town for two weeks while my fretted Bongo was in but then I think we all remember the time frame and all on my fretless but believe me when I say, all the waiting will soooooo be worth it. Not unlike a honeymoon! :D

My Sterling hs recently made the trip - NJ to CA took 5 business days, and CA back to NJ is scheduled for the same timeframe... I would think CA to MN would be a day or so less. At least with the tracking number UPS.com can get you the scheduled delivery date.

Either way, sounds like your Buttercream fretless Bongo is days away...

My Buttercream fretless Bongo is MONTHS away! :(

Anthony, did you get your bass back yet?
UPS has it - it's due back to me on Tuesday... I think it shipped out either this past Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning (4~5 business days). Good thing I'm not in Minnesota! ;)

I am so excited! :D
