Ken Smith basses are great instruments. Very smooth. Now I play it next to my SR5 and Bongo 5 and the Music Men just have a more edgy sound that suits my playing style better. The Ken's ARE the lowest action you will ever find with NO buzz and some very interesting features. Plus you can call the factory and talk to Ken himself. A fine quality instrument but I'm sticking with my MM's.
