Yeah, this is OT, but they make great amp casters too. I replaced the casters in my amp with EB ones, and now that sucka rolls like a dream!

Next time at Guitar Center I'm grabbing a set for my Geezer 2x12.

I have been using a combination of older George L in my rack (pretty complicated 2-head and Sound Sculpture Switchblade rack rig) and home-made Evidence cables. I picked up a roll of the new Evidence purple cable. It is not cheap or very pliable, but for fixed stuff like pedal boards and racks, it is the best I have heard.

Yeah, I tried it out at the NAMM show - the girl wouldn't let me walk past the booth without trying it out. She grabbed my arm and dragged me in (so I gave her my brother Nick's number because I haven't done anything nice for him in a while). While the cable is convenient and silent, the fact that if there is no slack on the cable and if I move just a tiny bit too far the cable disconnects is not for me. I have a bad habit of standing on cables while I move around on stage - For me that one wouldn't last one song without a disconnect or two.

Great thread. Timing especially good as I prepare to wire-up some 'boards and stuff:)

Think I will be field testing some of the suggestions as my luck with the GL cables has been funny ... some funny Ha Ha Ha and some just dang nasty funny ....

I stopped by my local GC on the way home from work and took a look at the Planet Waves system... not too shabby. I might give 'em a shot.

Anyone know where I can find right angle power plugs for the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2? GC didn't have any and the guy from Voodoo Labs customer service could learn a thing or two from Ernie Ball CS. He won't answer emails... I've sent two over the course of a month asking to buy them and I've gotten zero response...

I love this clean look
I did make a custom cable for this. I electrical taped the midi cable (for the floorboard controller for the Johnson Millennium) to the 2, 1/4" cables for the Ernie Ball Volume Hammers (EBVH :D ) used as voltage controllers. The midi controller floor keyboard has just a standard midi cable and a power cord. It's just cool.
I like tap dancing a little but it's tough to do a lot with this live. It gives me a lot more respect for the dancing that Geddy Lee does.
