I'll be in Canada next week and wondered if anyone can recommend a couple of worthwhile shops to visit in the Toronto/Hamilton areas- you know, those fun stores that have lots of MM and other cool basses and amplifiers. Thanks!

Twelfth Fret is more of a vintage guitar specialty shop, not too much for a bass player to drool over IMO. Although they do usually have a few Ernie Ball basses on display.

A better bet would be Steve's Music or Long & McQuade (Bloor Street location), but alot of their gear has been getting more and more low end as the years go by, it's actually quite sad, really :(

You might want to check out Club Bass at 45 Ossington (North of Queen) for the boutique stuff. And if you're in Hamilton? Well....FBass is the only place I would say is worth visiting there.

And finally there's a 1981 Stingray on display at Capsule Music:
