Hey,

Do you folks ever use capos on your Balls? I was working on a Blues song in C, and I think I would like to try use a capo to get the second octave on my 22 fret SS. I have just never used on before.

Any recommendations? I doubt it is an issue, but could they damage the neck?

Silver Kyser here works great! No problems with mars or marks on the neck finish to report either

+1 fpr the shubbs. You can contol the tension and keep notes from going sharp.

Did somebody mention Kyser? Only thing is that if you want to clip it on a classical it don't quite reach.

Uh, I'm a noob at capos, but I've been considering getting one...Do they fit 7-String necks? I don't think they wouldn't but I'm just curious.

For peeps with 7 strings, you can use 2 capos one from each side of the neck. You would be limited to smaller profile capos since you need to squeeze both in between the same frets. One other option is look for the shubb 12 string version and try it out.
