Was just listening to Death Cab For Cutie's latest CD on iTunes and think it's the shiznit. I'm not familiar with their older material (they've been around for many years), although, a while back I downloaded the "Transatlanticism" single. But it's good to see a band stick with it and finally have a break-out album. Their photo's all over newstands right now.

Like the Death Cab, but haven't heard a lot of their stuff. I LOVE the Postal Service album Give Up (Ben Gibbard is in both).

I think it's great to see them really hit nationally. Our former Music Director, Ratch, booked them way back in the day for a KPSU event....they came down and played our record swap and CD sale event, prolly back in '97 or '98. Back when they were just a local Pacific NW band.....

Andrew, I should have guessed you'd know them.

BTW, seen any concerts lately? I caught Sarah Lee Guthrie (Woody's grand daughter, Arlo's daughter) this past weekend at a SMALL local club. Nothin' like some good ole folk music to keep you grounded.
