I sold a H&K Replex on ebay recently.I specified paypal or postal money order only and the person sent a moneygram money order. His feedback is 100% based on 14 transactions. I'm not sure I should accept money order. I did specify in my listing and don't wanna get screwed.
Any suggestions? Anyone ever had this happen?

Why not try emailing him your concern, see if it's okay to hold the item for shipping until the moneygram order clears your bank & then ship?

Just remember in all selling transactions that you never ship until all funds are secure. That means cashed in your hand or cleared into your bank account. So if you can cash the moneygram or deposit it in your bank account and confirm the funds are secure, then there is no reason you should not accept it. Just inform the buyer of what's going on.

You do have every right to send that money order back if you specified payment options. Ebay will back you up in case he tries to give you negative feedback because of him not following the rules.

Very wise words +1
remember - inform the buyer - and also, don't just sit on the order and cause delay.

thanks all for the suggestions
I have contacted buyer and he seems okay letting the money order clear first. He claims it was an oversight on his part and I'll give him benefit of doubt.

Excellent!

I see you're a Brooklyn boy. I moved out in 2000. Where in Brooklyn you be, and how's the neighborhood these days?
