Sorry if this is old news. I'm watching a 2007 episode of American Chopper on DSC called "HP 2". There's a scene in this episode where Paul Sr. and his girlriend are getting tatoos in the office and there is a guitar leaning against the wall in the back ground.

I immediately thought it was an EBMM. I paused the picture, got out of bed (my wife rolling her eyes mind you), and it definitely looks like an EBMM. The guitar appears to have that classic 4x2 headstock.

I can't tell specifically which guitar it is. Most of the body is blocked by a piece of furniture. From what I could see, I'd say it was either a Silo, Luke, or Morse. It had that general shape.

Again, this may be old news. I'm always late on info :D If not, set your Tivo to record "HP 2" and see if you can catch it.

Hey David,

You're right! Matt and Joe Martin. Martin Bros Bikes Man, they make some beautiful bikes.

P.S. I also think it was an OLP on American Chopper.

They did do a bike for Peavey. They actually have some Peavey guitars somewhere in their shop.

I think this episode was one where they built a bike for HP computers.

They did a bike for Peavey and that was what you saw on that episode.

Actually, the "HP 2" in the title was for "Hewlett Packard". It was the second part of 2 episodes concerning a bike they built for Hewlett Packard -- around their "The Computer is Personal Again" theme.

I should have recorded it. When I rewound it and looked closely at the headstock, it didn't look like a Peavey. I'm inclined to think it was OLP if anything.

After viewing the OLP OCC guitar online, I'm thinking that's what it was.

I'm not so sure if you'd want the OCC boys in an EBMM factory. Mikey would probably pick up a shiny new BFR and smash it for laughs, like he did with the laptop they gave him, and the motor bike they tore apart with the high-powered water gun. :p
Funny show though :)
