OT: How do you tame a loud guitar player?

4. So I split his output with a "Y" and ran it into a little Korg Pandora and gave him some headphones and cranked it up and turned his amp down: pure heaven. I know he doesn't like the headphones all that much, but perhaps I can get some more comfortable ones.

Is the Y from his ext. speaker out? If so I'd make sure impedence is correct if he's using a tube amp. Or perhaps you mean line out.

Sorry, didn't make myself clear. The output from his guitar to his stomp boxes was then split with one output to the amp and the other to the Pandora. So the split was way before the amp. The old MM HD212's don't have a line out (seems primitive).
