hey i have the exact same problem with my band!

We have stacks of songs written, we have a guitarist/vocalist, lead guitarist, keyboard player, myself on bass but no drummer!

and the thing is we know stacks of amazing drummers, but none are available!!!

And we cant start doing shows untill we have a drummer

i feel your pain!

In all seriousness, I am in a rural part of NJ without a lot of drummer choices... The drummers that've come along have been a mess. The longer we play with the Alesis the more we like it.

With no live drummer, we use two of these things, with all songs programmed by the guitarist. It sounds great, and between the two of them we've got a whole gig's worth of music.

We had the same problem, and none of the drummers we found was any good. Then our keyboard player said "screw it, thery´re all so bad, I'll try it myself!" We didn't know it, but he was a real drummer So now we're a keyboard player short instead
