Hello guys!
Finally, after month and half of (mostly rural) Russia and 3 wild weeks of being a computer science grad student (I was never that swaped with work in my entire undergrad), I can't resist coming back here.
How's it going guys? How was the Open House?

Today was not a good day for me - my Mesa may have died on me. I switched to the clean channel and heard a loud pop. Not a sound from that channel since. Any ideas what could have happend? Preamp tube? Power tubes look alright.

Now I will be deprived of playing until I find the time (and $$$) to take my amp to the tech...

At least the SUB1 holds up well...

Welcome Back! :)

I didn't make it to the open house, but some of the guys have posted lots of pics to share with us.

Sorry about the amp! That doesn't sound good!

mhorse,

Welcome back.

The open house was beyond great... you will read all about it in the threads around here.

As for your amp, start with the simple.. check fuses first.

The fuse is fine, and the OD channel works. It's only the clean channel that is mute.

I, welcome back! Sorry about your Mesa, hopefully OC can point you in the right direction. The open house was awesome.

If you wanna stop in again and pick up one of those Soldanos you tried out before, feel free (after unloading the mesa, of course) ;)
