My country band played out again this past weekend to a pretty packed crowd. Knowing that we were bringing a ton of people to the bar I decided that it qualified as a special occasion and meant Kermit got to play and the RR Bongo stayed home.
I know the dimentions are the same but Kermit has some serious mojo! It is weird that 2 basses off the same line with only minor differences are two totally seperate beast. We have beat the H vs HH vs HS into the ground (and I must say the H was definately rocking) but the feel of the bass is just killer... it probably amounted to one of the best shows I've pulled off in the past 6 months - not from sonics but from that "feel" stand point. I know the differences are probably in my head but it is just very cool when a moment like that happens (it was also pretty cool that everyone commented on the obnoxious green "thing" that I was playing - and someone even recoginized it from the Trick Pony video - again cool).
Any similar experiences out there???
