The wife and I are escaping dreary Tex-Ass and spending most of the week frighteningly close to Cancun, although I'm told it's quieter and not so Cancun-ish.

Isla Mujeres is the place to be, apparently.

Yes, we're finally using the gift that some of you (many of you) gave me in November, so thank you yet again!

I'll be sure to bring back photos and sand fleas and so on.

See you on Thursday/Friday.

Don't PM Big Poppa!

Jack

PS: Stanky, I STILL don't have a box but I'll get with you later this week.

Sounds like fun!

I'm headed to Cozumel with my wife for our 10th anniversary trip next month. Looking forward to some good scuba diving.

In the meantime, I'll be heading off to your house to "liberate" a couple of those amazing Bongos you've been saddled with. :p

Enjoy your break, el capitan Bongo!

WOOOOO!!! Jack's Spring Break Adventures: Jack's Gone Wild - coming soon!

We await your return so long as you don't bring Montezuma back with you. (or his revenge)

Jack,

I've been to Isla Mujeres a few times. Beware the barracuda if you go snorkeling! Both times I snorkeled at the reef there I encountered them. The first time it was a one-on-one.. the second time it was a whole school of them!

Even more persistent are the little kids hanging off the docks trying desperately to sell you a yarn-woven wrist bracelet.

Nice beach on the remote end of the island though!

Have fun, Jackie! Isla Mujeres is beautiful - rent a moped/golf cart and go all over the island to the ruins and the turtle farm (adorable!).
