Holy crap. If any of you guys are a fan of JP, or Marco, check out Marco's new album "There's Hope". Its amazing. I just got it and the playing on it is phenomenal to say the least. Marco's a monster player and definitely has some amazing chops and tone. Killer phrasing all over this album. I just figured I'd share with my fellow forumites.

Marco is a really fine guitar player. I especially dig his tasteful phrasing and the appropriate use of monstrous technique he has. A man who plays, instead of showing of.

I liked his tone with a JP6 a bit better, though.

Marco is a great guy, I've chatted with him a couple of times and he's really a nice guy, but he's also one of the best guitarists I know

Still gotta pick this up.... I'm not a fan of buying stuff online, but when your music taste runs this far off course, you gotta make "sacrifices". :D

For all of you "chicken pickers" out there, there's a song called "Texas BBQ" where Marco plays in the style of Albert Lee. Its very cool. Where's Rob when ya need him? Haha.

Yeah, this album kicks serious arse! I like the title track a whole lot right now. Every song is good though! He sounds like a mix between all my favorite guitarists which is pretty cool!

I just noticed something nice...

Right at the end of the song Sunset Lights he plays exactly the same lick as one of the last licks in the Oblivious solo on James Labrie's Elements of Persuasion...
