I know this is WAY off topic, but just had a job interview a 2 weeks ago and had to get my hair cut SHORT for it. (not Army short, but close).
Anyway, it's freezing up here in Michigan and now that I don't have long hair anymore I realize why people wear these knit hats! It's COLD.
Would love to get a EBMM knit hat but don't see them in the store...where would one freezing Bongo-head get one?

That has got to be worse than here, for sure! Makes for a VERY cold load out after working under hot lights all night...its like going from a tanning bed to a walk-in freezer! No wonder everyone gets colds here!

mother nature can be mean with us.. id rather take -25c with no wind and no humidity than -10c and wind and too much humidity here at the coast :)
the eb beanie is nice and your local dealer should be able to get one, or you could try looking at the shopatron site :)

Thanks, can you post a link to the Shopatron site? Not familiar with it...thanks!

Edit: did a search on it and came up with the UK Ernie Ball store...WOW! Lots of cool t-shirts out there. Love the biker ones. But no beanie / tuque / knit hat in sight.

Don't all you kids have a wardrobe full of "hoodies" to keep your head warm? Or do you only wear those in the middle of summer like everybody else seems to :) For some reason the only time I've ever seen someone wearing a hoodie when it was actually cold was Stallone in one of the Rocky movies.

You've never been in quebec city... I wear a hoodie + a tuque (not quite sure if I translate it correctly) + a scarf regularly. Trust me, cold means 30 celcius below zero here ;) .

A tuque from SLO!? LOL I'd want a California tuque! Make it from acrylic or preferably wool. Wool is warm even when wet and won't melt beside the fire!

Coldest I ever saw was -66C (-86.8F). IIRC, I wore a tuque (under the hardhat)!

I think Stallone wore a hoodie AND a tuque! Running in the morning in Philly can get cold!
Yes, there are hoodies but most of me is burning up after a gig (when I get in the car, the windows fog up) and the last thing I want to put on is another layer of clothing to cover my now-cropped head. :)
Probably more info than you wanted to know, but.... :)

When I had long hair it would freeze on my head while walking in between classes in Michigan.
