As most of you read in my post a while back, I got a Gallien-Krueger endorsement. I love my GK amps and cabs. They sound great with my EBMM basses. Yesterday during a trip to the Atlanta Guitar Center (my drummer was getting some drums) I was playing a lovely white 5 string Bongo with an abalone guard. None other than bassmonkees accidental fretted, which might I add is a GREAT sounding Bongo. Anyway these Phil Jones amps caught my eye because they had a stack with around thirty, five and a half (think) inch drivers. I didnt think that this stack could handle the low B of the Bongo, but those five and a half inch speakers sounded really good and I was surprised at their freq. response. Anyway, just wanted to see of others had played the PJB stuff, especially the local GA residents Bassmonkee and Crazybass. Pretty cool gear, but I wont be selling my GK rig for it.
