My son can now correctly identify his Matchbox Ferrari 365 GTB/4 and greatly prefers it to his plastic Dodge Charger R/T. I think I may have to toss the Ferrari and find him a Hot Wheels Honda Accord before that Champagne taste develops too far.

No kidding, Steve! Thank God my wife is in love with our Honda Odyssey minivan. My horrible ex had a thing for cars that needed soft, expensive tires. She, like the tires, wore out quickly, too.

My 2.5-year-old can correctly identify a guitar/bass bridge, pickup, pickguard, string, fret, "ball" (fretboard dot), nut, and machine heads. She also knows that a strap is needed when standing up. Finally, she knows my honeyburst 'Ray is my newest bass.
Oh, and she can tell a guitar from a bass.

I've always had a thing for Ford Mustangs. Ever since I was a little one (toddler) I could tell the year/model of them. I dont like any of them now though, 2000+ models are not for me. My favorites are the 1991-1993 generation for some reason though. It was around these years that i fell in love with them so that was what I was seeing on the streets.

i have had 4 fox body(87-93) mustangs. thats my other hobbie,and man are they$. the set of heads on the motor are worth 2400$ thats over half of what i paid for the car 5 years ago.

oh, just get him an old Porsche 944 (<$2000) that sits in the drive way for 8 years until he is old enough to reach the clutch, brake, and gas pedals...in the mean time you can enjoy the car
