I tend to view it as more of an insurance thing to protect my amp...a $20 surge protector might do just as well, though...I don't know!:eek:

I just bought a new rig to go with my LE Stingray on order. I bought a Furman M8D for ~ $80 $US. I figured it was cheap insurance for my new Eden WT 550, looks nice/has lights and I could potentially use it to power other items where I keep my rig, such as my home computer and/or home theatre system. My amp has a tube pre-amp ... I was thinking the power conditioner may help extend tube life also.
