I've used one for years.The big plus with these is that you can plug everything into the back(amp,tuner, effects)and just plug in the cord from the power conditioner.The lights on the front sometimes come in handy on dark stages also......

I tend to view it as more of an insurance thing to protect my amp...a $20 surge protector might do just as well, though...I don't know!

I just bought a new rig to go with my LE Stingray on order. I bought a Furman M8D for ~ $80 $US. I figured it was cheap insurance for my new Eden WT 550, looks nice/has lights and I could potentially use it to power other items where I keep my rig, such as my home computer and/or home theatre system. My amp has a tube pre-amp ... I was thinking the power conditioner may help extend tube life also.
