OT: Sat in with my new band Saturday night.

The guys in my new band, Railhead, played a gig Saturday night. They had already let their old bassist go and they had a sub lined up for the weekend. I was asked to come out and bring my bass with me if I could. I showed up a little before they started and ended up playing part of the first set, the whole second set and more than half of the last part of the third set. That just pumped me up more. This band is going to be a lot of fun to play with and they are also a great group of guys. I can't wait until this Friday and Saturday when I officially start playing with them.

The first song I had to play was "Alright Now". I was a little rough on the bass solo when it got to it, but I smoothed it out as the song went along. Kind of tough to get that one thrown at me right off the bat.
