So
I'm sure all my fellow knuckleheads are a bit hacked off with my I'm selling/I'm not selling my DD luke - last post of this I promise, just need to get this off my chest.

Just wanted to say SORRY to all - It's not for sale - not now not ever.

I panic alot about everything , I worry alot about money and money was a little tight and I thought I could sell my DD luke - what an idiot. I don't want to - I had a bad debt when I was younger and it makes me over compensate when I owe a few hundred bucks.

Special apology to Poppa, it was a post from Spud that brought it home, I did beg you to re-open the order book and I mean no dis-respect Don-ball by trying to sell my DD luke just wanted to make sure there was enough cash available for my family. I am eternally greatful for you opening the books and I appreciate that you wouldn't have made much or any money on the DD's please accept my apology

I've since found away around my financial problem (and no it's not prostitution colin!) - and I really appreciate all the posts and PM's from you my online family have sent, thanks to Spud for sorting out the cranial rectum invertion, I owe you a pint when we meet up.

Really sorry again, I promise to buy a BFR AL or Axis as soon as finances permit! - now back to having fun......

Smelly.

Smelly i dont think anyone here would think badly of you in any way if you had to sell the DD Luke to help ease financial strain on your family. The most important thing in the whole world is family. Guitars are just guitars buddy. No-one can predict the future.

Smelly, great to hear that things have worked out. Don't worry about Colin, he tried prostitution to solve some money problems when we were teenagers. The problem was he ended up owing more money. ;)

Wow Smelly - I gotta say that when I wrote the post, and read it back the next day it sounded a "trifle harsh" - I remember your angst at not being able to get one initially, and I'm glad that you've sorted things out. Now get rid of the BMW and get a little cheap running Fiat Punto (like me!!)

Damn - I got no plans to be up North for a while - still, a pint of 70 schillings can wait!!!

At the end of the day, guitars (no matter how well made) are things, and things can be replaced.

For sure, Smelly. A family has to eat and unfortunately we can't eat guitars. Keep on rockin'. Just keep the clothes on for the pics! We're trying to eat. :)

BP, when will you post another pic of you dressed as a pirate. Those bring me such joy.

thanks guys, you really are a cool bunch....

Family will always come first, just need to work harder (EEK!) and posibily get a job where I'm working in the US 2 days a week !!!!!! - it'd be the taking the balls apart to fit them in my hand luggage and then assembling them on the plane without the cabin crew asking too many questions that'd be a problem!

Your comments are all apreciated, makes this place kinda (extra) special.

Thanks all.
