Anybody out there familiar with the Dears? Just heard their new CD and was blown away... very diverse, intensely talented, interesting and musically challenging... qualities all too lacking in a lot of new music, unfortunately.
And if anyone thinks they are just a Smith's clone, listen again. If you haven't heard 'em... give 'em a listen. Absolutely brilliant!
I know it isn't cool to go on about every band that gets your attention, but I really feel strongly about this band. I don't get too excited about music these days...
