I had the good fortune to try a Traynor AM100T last week. It's a 100-watt acoustic amp with 2 x 6.5 in. woofers and a tweeter.
I didn't really explore all the sound options, but the tone they dialed in at the store was great. Very nice amp. I definitely like it better than the Fishman amps. Unfortunately, nobody in this area carries AER. Anyway, the Traynor sounded very nice with the piezo-equipped guitar ("G" brand from Canada). It's cheaper than an AER, I think. Is it "better"? I have no idea. I would love to try an AER.
Anyone ever try one of these Traynor acoustic amps? Me likey. Sounded very organic and natural.
