I hate the waiting game....

My first EBMM guitar is coming. A Rosewood Axis second hand from my buddy Dan Desy....I'm pretty stoked.

Gig tomorrow...may leave the PRS at home if I can get comfortable enough on this tonight. Ballsy eh?

From what I've played, the all rosewood neck is my favorite MM neck. Though I've only noodled for less than an hour on it at a GC.

Wonder if it'll ever see the light of day on any other models? Man it was comfortable. Enjoy it.

Yeah it is a great neck. Man I can see this snowballing. I've seem to have lost some interest in PRS of late...no fault of thiers, all the fault of getting my first MM and you guys!!! LOL

Hoping to order a Silo or AL soon, and possible trade in the works for a luke....

Congrats Mike! That is a sweet guitar.

I remember Dan talking about the piezo- I put a Ghost system in my Morse shortly thereafter. (Though, I did find I picked up noise through the preamp so I wired it up to be all passive in the "mag only" position.)

Beej, you got a schematic or drawing for that? I noticed the same. Likely Dan didn't because he used a GT8 and a Road King.

I'm a 18 watt Nick Greer and pedalboard kinda guy. SO I did notice the noise.

DId a gig last night. I'm not one for trying new gear on the gigs, so I took it for the dropped D tune we opened with. Everything else was standard tuning so I was going to go back to my faithful PRS....

Um....didn't happen.. I tuned it up quick and played it for the whole set. for 'bedroom tone' the PRS wins..but at the gig, the RW A.S.S. just cut through and kicked ASS!!! I love it!!!

May do a couple tweaks to the electronics, and decide weather to keep the Piezo in it, but I do think I'm going to add a cap to the volume control for better sweep treble bleed, etc.

But all in all, for a guitar that I had only 24 hours, I loved it. Light, fast neck, just smoked.

Got lots of tone compliment's and my band thought I was playing 'faster'. LOL That RW neck is so FAST feeling!!!

Now the waiting game again....doing a trade deal for a Luke with a forumite.

I'm hooked.

Speaking of Tone Crack.....

How about a review on that Greer if you've got time? I've had my eye on one of those for some time now.
