My sterling HS that I traded My SR5 to Dkwilkins for is out for delivery!! I don't believe Ive been this excited over a bass coming to me in a long time! Im usually not at home when the UPS runs and usually he drops it on the back porch at my neighbors. Ive got notes on my doors and my neighbors doors to leave it there. Man I hope he does leave it and not take it back or im gonna go insane!! Unfortunately It looks like Davids may not reach his house till tommorrow. I was so hoping we could simultaneously enjoy new MM goodness. Its amazing how you can ship 2 packages the same distance at the same time and one get to its destination a full day before the other.

That is a feeling that is hard to ever get over when you know there is a MM bass on its way to you.

Doesn't sound like you are in for too much more suffering. :)

Just got it!! Im off to band practice so really cant give a full review of what I think about it cause all I got here at home is a crappy little kustom practice amp but from what I can already tell I absolutely love all three coils on and and the setting with both single coils on. Here's some pics! Thanks again David!!!

Glad it made the trip ok :)

It's a good one... wish I had enough coin to keep everything that comes through here, but I generally gots to move one to get one. I'm sure most of you know what I mean ;)

Now, if Brown would just bring that SR5 all would be right with the world :D .

Just wanted to chime in right before Band practice and say that this thing does kick butt!! I really REALLY like all coils on or both singles on. This thing will not leave the house of John. If I ever post anything about trading this off, please forum family flame the sh** out of me!! I also wanted to say that David is a standup guy and I really hate that his bass didnt make it today I really hopes he likes it cause Id hate to have to give him this one back! :D Seriously I wont feel like this bass is truly mine until I know that he is satisfied with the SR5.Thanks again Dave and thanks for being so patient on waiting an extra day for yours!

Just got home from practice and Ive discovered that this bass can do EVERYTHING. I really like position 3 and tend to favor it and position 1 (neck pickup). That neck pickup is just magical for R&B and mimicing an upright type sound. My f***** is gonna be pretty much banned to the closet and backupville.

I'm waiting for brown tomorrow too, too bad I'll be at work when the single LE Bongo gets there, and I'll be counting the minutes till quittin time.

That's the setup I'm getting on my DD Sterling, does sound wonderful; doesn't it?

Tommorow is Bongo day for me! It's just a loaner for the time being but if everything you say about the Bongo5 H is right. I just might have to find some way to buy it....

You probably no longer need a new neck on the SR4 Randy. It could be a wall hanger in the damged case. IMHO.

Congrats! I love mine. I briefly thought of selling it for a 5, but I came back to my senses.. I'll just get both! :D
