It's not only beautiful, BP, it sounds freakin' great! I just missed my Bongo, and when the opportunity came up to get it back, I jumped. Plus, that DD 2-Bander I have on order should cover my Stingray needs.

Randy, I can't believe it got there that fast! Score one for UPS.

I played this bass a couple of owners ago and, if it had a rosewood board, I would have beaten SmallEQ to death with a John Ferrarro signature drumstick and kept it for myself.

Just a visual thing, by the way - nothing wrong with that maple board.

my HH Ray with maple board kills! again, im not oen to claim to tonally like one FB over another - its an aesthetic choice for me.

anywho... i almost sold randy my HH a while back and im glad i didnt and now im glad he got one so we can chat about how badass these things are

Randy, I can't believe it got there that fast! Score one for UPS.

No props for UPS yet Tom......This thing was OFD all day and then all of the sudden it showed that it was back at the Ontario UPS Hub and delivery rescheduled for the 27th I called Ontario and they are trying to track it down so I can pick it up(only 10 miles away) tonight........

Ha-ha, when you said "Ontario" I thought the bass had actually found its way back to Canada (until you mentioned it was only a few miles away from you)! Do these limited editions have a homing instinct? I don't want to pick one of these up when I go home for Christmas and bring it all the way back to the UK only to see it in the news floating across the Atlantic in an attempt to return to the motherland. No "Lassie" basses for me.

Looks like you might be right Dave.They had it OFD all day and then all of a sudden it had a origin scan in Ontario where it had just arrived the night before.Turns out they screwed up and put it on a truck for Jacksonville, FL!:eek Supposedly they caught it and are re-routing it back to CA.Should be here Monday the 27th(Only 5 days late )but i'm not holding my breath........
