My Orange Firemist (or maybe) Lava Pearl SM should be in my hands by the end of the day!

Still not sure which finish it is.... Once I get it here and can check the serial # I'll post it up and we'll find out for sure.

I just know that I can't wait to play it!

Assuming the pickguard is original, its Lava Pearl, as Black Ice was discontinued before the introduction of Orange Firemist.

Very nice !

Most of the Morse owners like me are just following the MASTER, so we have a Blueburst ... It's nice to see a non-blueburst Morse (but of course it's a heresy !)

Outside of the Y2Ds I had never even seen a standard Morse in any color but Blueburst. For you know alls that have been around long before me what other standard issue colors have you seen the Morse in over the years. The guitar really pops in a different color.

My god man, this is like waiting for a baby to pop. Girl or boy, Firemist or Lava.

Can’t wait to see the pics. It sure looks like you're going to own a rarity.

Originally you could only get the Morse in Blue Burst. After a few years the available color list for the Morse was expanded to include Black.

Beginning several years ago (10? 15?) the Morse was offered in any standard opaque color. You can still order it in any of the current opaque colors, although most people order it like Steve's #1

I have seen Sterling Silver, Blue Pearl, Black&Gold LE, White, Teal Pearl, Graphite Pearl, Blue Dawn, Dargie II, Black Sparkle, and I am sure there are others that I just can't remember at the moment.

Yes, the guitar does really pop when it is a different color. You have an awesome axe!
